I have fallen a little ill this week, so please accept this old, old video from one of my first gigs as my Wednesday weekly reel
As I recover, I am filled with immense gratitude for the folks who have stayed with me or come into my life since this video was shot. My writing has gotten "better," I feel more capable as a live performer, and I can feel my spiritual and musical growth deep within me. This growth is valuable to me by itself, but I feel rich because of the amount of folks I can call my friends and supporters, though the two are a nearly circular venn diagram. I'm incredibly grateful for the opportunity to play music (solo + as a quarter of The Famous Recipe ) publicly to folks who enjoy hearing the songs that come from deep within, oft with some of the best collaborators around. It's an opportunity that isn't available to all, so thank you for allowing me to play music for ya pals 🩵

SPRINGFIELDERS & DIY-OR-DIERS: We're putting on another amazing DIY folk bill THIS Friday (7/17). I'm beyond excited to share the stage with Springfield's own Matt Chonko for his first time playing at Duo Home AND with the amazing band Arbitrarium in their first time playing Springfield ever. As always, free beverages & refreshments will be available for the good of the people

SPFLD & SONGWRITING FRIENDS: I am proud to be presenting the Artist's Circle once more on the First Wednesday of August (8/5). I'll be taking a rear seat again and turning the wheel over to Jess Jones (IN), Sasi Scott (CIN), and hometown fellas AJ O'Neill and Donavon Tolle. 4 different songwriting paths will converge for our pleasure, please join us at The State Theater
