We are excited to share a new Member Engagement & Training Specialist joined the IABH team today! Kourtney brings a strong background in communications, public policy, member engagement, and training. Most recently, she served as Manager of Communications, Education & Special Events with Health Care Council of Illinois, where she supported member education, coordinated conference planning, developed legislative communications, and worked closely with membership initiatives. Prior to that, she spent more than three years as a Communication Specialist for the Illinois Senate Democratic Caucus, partnering with legislators on public relations, media outreach, policy communications, social media, and stakeholder engagement.

Her experience building relationships, supporting educational programming, and communicating issues makes her a great fit for this new role. We’re excited to have her join the team as we continue to strengthen our member engagement efforts and expand training opportunities.
