Congratulations to Russell Scanlan Grand Master of DeMolay International

Today we honor DeMolay Brother Joseph W. Gresham.
He was born in Creston Iowa attended Springfield High School but did not graduate with the class of 1944. He was employed by the Illinois Divisions of Highways and attended Laurel United Methodist Church.

Brother Gresham was initiated into Stephen A. Douglas Chapter 26, September 1932.

Lt. Gresham entered military service with the Illinois National Guard where he held the rank of Sergeant. His unit was mobilized and he attended Officer Candidate School. he was assigned to Troop A, 24th Cavalry Recon Squadron. He was Killed in France on 23rd June 1944.

He is buried at Roselawn Cemetery.
