Meet the cast of THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY: Shakespeare's Kings and Queens, which opens TOMORROW! Today’s featured player is Spencer Pilcher!

Character: I play Prince Hal, later known as King Henry V. As Prince Hal, he's a bit of a slacker and a goof-off, but definitely a people person. As King Henry, he is trying to find out how to be his own king, rather than a copy of his father.

Some past productions/ roles you've done, with us or elsewhere: With ITC, I've recently been Dogberry in Much Ado, Macbeth in Macbeth, and Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night. I've also recently been in PWLT's The Secret Garden as Albert Lennox and LTA's A Christmas Carol as the Ghost of Christmas Present.

About Spencer: I'm an engineer by day, theatre kid by night. I love spending time with other theatre folks, as well as watching movies and playing video games.

Favorite quote or scene from this play: I want to say it's the "Undercover Boss" scene where I say of the king (myself) "I think he would not wish himself any where but where he is." But truly my favorite scene and line is the Richard III and Elizabeth scene and the line "Without her, follows to this land and me, to thee, herself, and many a Christian soul, death, desolation, ruin and decay. It cannot be avoided but by this; it will not be avoided but by this."

A fond memory: Getting Japanese food with a gang of royals Richard II, Richard III, my on-stage father (Henry IV), my on-stage son (Henry VI)... and Falstaff.

Favorite fictional royal: If he counts as "royalty," then Emperor Kuzco! Otherwise, it's probably King Candy.

Shout out to the directors for stepping outside the box and trying out a new sort of show for ITC!

👑 Meet the cast of THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY: Shakespeare's Kings and Queens, which opens this Friday! Today's featured player is Stephanie Oden!

Character: I play Gloucester/ Richard III! He is a controlling, power-obsessed murderer whose only dream is to rule!

Past Productions: At ITC I got to play Beatrice in Much Ado last year! Other favorite roles include Viola in B&H’s Twelfth Night and Honey in City of Fairfax’s Whose Afraid of Virginia Woolf?

About Stephanie: I’m a librarian and mother of two fabulous kiddos!

Favorite quote or scene from this play: “Vouchsafe diffused infection of a man of these known evils to give me leave, by circumstance, to curse thy cursed self”

A fond memory you have with castmates: I loved stepping into the 90’s last year and laughing with the cast as we tried on chokers and good ol’ power beads!

A favorite fictional royal: Belle

Shoutout: It's been so fun seeing fabulous actors in epic scenes!

Favorite quote or scene from this play: I love getting to see familiar roles by fresh actors!

MEET THE CAST of THE GOOD, THE BAD & THE UGLY: Shakespeare's Kings and Queens, running July 25-26! Today's featured performer is Eliza Souser!

Character: I play three official characters and one surprise cameo! The Chorus is here to set the scene, Clarence is confused as to why she needs to be in the room for this, and Lady Anne is trying to make the best of the world’s worst situation.

Past Productions: Recently, I’ve been Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, First Witch in Macbeth, Olivia in Twelfth Night, Paulina in Winter’s Tale, Poins in Henry IV Part I, and Julius Caesar in Julius Caesar.

About Eliza: This play is great for me because I’m a big history fan! I’m going to start my MA in the subject next month!

Favorite quote or scene from this play: “Then you mean not as I thought you did.”

A fond memory with castmates: It was so lovely getting to play Hero to Stephanie’s Beatrice last year!

A favorite fictional royal: Queen Clarisse from The Princess Diaries, as played by the incomparable Julie Andrews

Thank you so much to this wonderful cast for making sure I can go out with a bang before I move!
