Huge Win! The bill our advocates met with lawmakers on during our Illinois Cancer Action Day, HB4461 which reduces the burden of medical debt on patients and their families in Illinois by prohibiting liens related to medical debt from being placed on a patient’s home, just passed out of the Illinois Senate and is on its way to Governor Pritzker’s desk!
