Every year we find new creatures we haven’t seen in the 13 years we’ve been here. This year we have seen more amphibians than before - toads and frogs for the first time. A very good sign that healing is taking place.

Every year there’s something new that we haven’t seen on this land. Today, this little guy hung out while I weeded. Yesterday it was morels.

Springtime mushrooms in the raspberry patch. Including a morel, which we are taking as a sign that we are officially an orchard 😂
