We remain under a Level 1 and 2 risk for severe weather tonight across Central Illinois. The strongest storms are expected farther north, with gradual weakening as they push into our area.
Storms have been firing up ahead of an approaching cold front. We're watching a cluster of severe storms making their way through Iowa currently. I don't expect us to see much until after Midnight, into early Tuesday morning. Our biggest storm threat will come from damaging wind potential, with a very low risk for tornadoes and hail.
