We are incredibly honored to have been named Nonprofit of the Year by the ERC5, a vibrant chamber representing more than 300 business and nonprofit members across our community. This recognition means so much to all of us at Rachel’s Table because it reflects the dedication of our volunteers, donors, partners, and supporters who make our mission possible every day.

We were proud to celebrate alongside an outstanding group of fellow award recipients:

🏆 Business of the Year: Tandem Bagel Company
🏆 Small Business of the Year: College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving
🏆 New Member of the Year: Baystate Winair
🏆 Ambassador of the Year: Rich Merrifield Jr.
🏆 Board Members of the Year: Carla Alves and Amie Miarecki

Congratulations to all of this year's honorees, and thank you to ERC5 for recognizing the work being done throughout our region to strengthen and support our communities. We are grateful to be part of such an inspiring network of businesses, nonprofits, and community leaders.

🎉 Congratulations again to Rachel’s Table Teen Board leaders Nilani Mathur and Alia Ghaoui, who were honored as part of the Junior Achievement of Western MA “18 Under 18” Class of 2026!

The awards celebrate young people across the region for their leadership, innovation, service, and dedication to making a difference in their communities — and Alia and Nilani represent all of those qualities so beautifully.

Pictured with them is Judy Yaffe, President of Rachel’s Table, celebrating these inspiring young leaders and the impact they continue to make through service and advocacy.

We are so proud of Alia and Nilani for this well-deserved recognition and grateful for the passion and leadership they bring to the Rachel’s Table Teen Board and our community. 💚

We’re so grateful to The Fabulous 413 and New England Public Media for featuring Rachel’s Table and our Outrun Hunger 2026 event!

Executive Director Jodi Falk joined the show to talk about the mission behind Outrun Hunger and the work Rachel’s Table does year-round to fight food insecurity across Western Massachusetts.

The support from our local media partners and community helped make this year’s event an incredible success — with a record number of runners and walkers coming together to help us race to fill the bowls. 🏃‍♀️🥫💚

Thank you to everyone who listened, shared, participated, sponsored, volunteered, and showed up for our community. We couldn’t do this work without you.
