709 Package Liquors

Well, we finally are open again. 3 days after dodging tornadoes and straight line winds, 709 is open, and the beer cooler is set at 32 degrees. We’ve got a whole lotta beer to sell after bulking up prior to the storm. So stop on by the oldest liquor store in Sangamon County!

We’ve been “promised” a delivery of some very fine bourbons today. Stop by this afternoon, and you might find a Weller, a Blanton’s, or maybe an Elmer T Lee.

For nearly 27 years we’ve been taking care of wedding receptions. I’m going to miss those big events. With the past year’s Covid experience, I have decided to keep my employees safe and and only provide the beverages for those events. It’s just not worth it.
