**Personal Protection Specialist Course (PPS - 32E)
Starts Oct. 17th
Bodyguard Training - This is a 60 hour course.
If you want to be an armed PPS, additional fi****ms training is required.

**Private Investigator Course (02E)
Starts Nov. 7th
This is a 60 hour course. This course fills up quickly and seating is limited. Sign up sooner than later!

**General and Fi****ms Instructor Courses (Alternative Training for 13E and 14E)
Start Dates: Dec. 10th and 17th
These are both 40 hour courses. For instructor certification see the Virginia DCJS website for requirements to obtain your instructor certification(s). The fi****ms instructor course requires a range qualification in addition to the course hours.

Range Qualification
Sunday - 4/5/20

We are still conducting our range qualification this Sunday, the 5th of April at the usual time and place. We will be limiting the number of individuals in the range at one time. Please work with us, so that we can successfully run the range and get your qualifications done.

***Training Update***

All of our regular scheduled courses WILL CONTINUE as planned. (This includes all of our security officer courses - DCJS Codes 01e, 05e, 075e, 07r, 08r) We will be limiting the number of individuals in our classes though. If you need training, call and register sooner than later.

As long as the ranges stay open we will continue with our qualifications. For us and many of you this is about people's employment. We feel it would be an injustice, to our staff as well as the individuals seeking training for employment purposes, if we completely closed our facility.

The Virginia DCJS is working with the training academies to ensure that individuals can continue training if possible. You can look for new online courses on our website in the coming days. We are working hard to make this a seamless and easy process for everyone. Thank you for sticking with us in these unfamiliar times. We look forward to hearing from you!

*** Urgent: Range Notice ***

The range that was scheduled for today starting at 6pm, has been cancelled. This is a last minute cancellation do to unforeseen circumstances out of our control.

***We will be conducting the range qualification at a different location tomorrow, 3/23 at 7:00am (0700). Call our office for details if you plan to attend. 703-628-7725

We are well aware that there are individuals that need to requalify before the months end, and we are doing our best to accommodate those who need to get their credentials renewed. We will be taking precautions to the best of our ability to limit the amount of people inside the range at one time. Thank you for sticking with us!

This is an entry level course and does not require prior experience. This course meets the requirements to apply for your Virginia private investigator registration. There is limited seating for this course. Sign up sooner than later!
