Illinois House Republicans

Democrats need to get serious about real budget negotiations instead of running the same failed playbook: ramming through a middle-of-the-night budget packed with tax hikes and pork projects for Democrat districts.

Democrats claim the budget has been available because they put the Governor's proposal into bills in the House and Senate. However, the real language is likely to be quite different and probably dropped in the final hour with little time for review. This is not transparency.
