Components of the 5 star designation are staffing, quality measures, and health inspections. In January Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing received a deficiency free unannounced on site annual survey. This domain has the heaviest weight in the final score, and is a reflection of the high quality of care that Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing provides.

A second unannounced on site inspection was conducted in February to ensure compliance with National Fire Protection Association Life Safety Codes. Loomis Lakeside at Reeds Landing received a deficiency free survey as well. This inspection focuses on fire suppression systems, emergency lighting, exit access, and structural safety to protect residents from fire, smoke, and electrical hazards.
