Help me help myself

In the last month my family has been moved by God to send support to the lovely people of Kenya, looking around at America and all that we have it only seemed right to help those less fortunate than our selves... with $100 dollars the first time gathered together by 6 people God provided for 11 families, $140 the second time got school books for children and more food for those that didn't have any... Just a little sent by a few helped many in need, but as me and my friend Onyango spoke of how to help his people we realized that charity would not sustain the people for very long.. There had to be a different way? We came up with the idea of trying to find donors who would help the villages come up with a way to be self sufficient, " Give a man a fish he will eat for a day, teach a man to fish he will eat for a life time." The mission is to get Chickens and seed and the education to raise and cultivate the land. the one thing they need is the nest egg to get it all started..
