* Enhanced (3/5) to Moderate (4/5) risk late tonight into early Sunday morning. Primary hazard is destructive wind gusts up to 80 mph. Additional hazards include large hail up to baseballs and a few tornadoes.
* Slight (2/5) to Enhanced (3/5) risk Sunday morning through the evening. Primary hazard is damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph.
Overview
* Supercells will merge into a line of thunderstorms and move through the area tonight. Primary threat is for destructive wind gusts up to 80 mph. The tornado risk will be highest in the west with discrete storms, but will still exist with the line as it moves east. Hail up to the size of baseballs. Localized heavy rainfall and flashing flooding may occur.
11 pm - 3 am: Supercells are most favored along and west Interstate 49.
Hazards: Damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph. Large hail up to baseballs. A
strong tornado or two possible.
2 am - 5 am: Supercells transition to line segments as it approaches the Highway 65 corridor.
Hazards: Damaging wind gusts up to 80 mph. Large hail up to golf balls. A few brief tornadoes possible.
4 am - 7 am: A line of thunderstorms continues east.
Hazards: Damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph. Large hail up to quarters. A brief tornado possible.
This incident will be 'fused' (connected) to the State of Missouri WebEOC as necessary for enhanced operations.

* Two rounds of winter weather will occur over the weekend. The first is ongoing today. The next will occur late Sunday into early Monday.
* Minor to moderate road impacts are possible today. On Sunday, at least minor road impacts are possible, especially south of I-44.
* Low temperatures 20 to 30 degrees below normal likely today through Tuesday.
* Dangerous wind chills -15 to -30 degrees are likely Sunday morning, Monday morning, and Tuesday morning.
