I had the best time visiting Springfield for Agriculture Legislative Day today!🌽✨

Some of my favorite moments included connecting with FFA members, touring the Capitol, and meeting State Legislators. It was inspiring to be surrounded by young leaders who are passionate about agriculture. The conversations we shared were a powerful reminder of how this industry impacts us all and continues to ignite a spark in each of us to share its story and advocate for its future. 💙💛

I’m beyond grateful for opportunities like this one to learn, connect, and represent the Illinois County Fair community.

Queen Krista had a day full of shopping and felt like true royalty! 👑✨

She first stopped by MyFormals, where the staff was incredibly welcoming and attentive to her needs. Krista even got the privilege to meet Johnathan Kayne and try on a variety of his stunning designs! She definitely got the queen treatment!

Next, Krista visited A Queen’s Dream, another amazing shop with so many beautiful gowns to choose from. Such a fun experience close to home!

Queen Krista has been busy with interviews over the past few weeks, and today’s was with our local news station, WCIA! She’s so excited to keep sharing her story and connecting with communities across the state. Stay tuned… there’s so much more to come! 🎥

Queen Krista looked absolutely radiant on stage during the swimsuit portion. She was confident while rocking one of her favorite colors, pink! 💗

Along with her love of pink and bows, Krista loves eating ice cream, playing volleyball, deepening her faith, and cheering on the Illini!!

Fun fact: Krista learned how to drive on a stick-shift car, and turned that experience into a speech focused on confidence, patience, and personal growth. If you were watching, you’d know that she “killed it”! 🚘

Looking at my first official picture from crowning night, it still seems surreal. I am overjoyed to represent you all as your 2026 Miss Illinois County Fair Queen. Holding this title is an honor and a privilege that I am blessed to experience. I’m forever grateful to everyone who impacted me on my journey to the crown, and I cannot wait to see what is in store for this year! I look forward to bringing you along on my journey!
