Rotary Club of Springfield IL Sunrise

Sunrise Rotary has been serving up nutritious after school evening meals with Compass for Kids twice a month for kids from Blackhawk and McClernand Schools at Southside Christian and Third Presbyterian during this school year. Here are some Rotarians at work, having fun and helping kids.

Sunrise Rotarians donated food items, and other grocery items, which were dropped off at the Central Illinois Foodbank today. Some club members also donated cash.

In two weeks, the Rotary citrus deliveries will start, from our annual sale- and the Foodbank will receive hundreds of pounds of much appreciated fresh oranges donated through Springfield clubs, paid for by our citrus customers’ directed donations!
