🦷 🐾 It’s Dental Health Awareness Month! 🐾 🦷
❤️🩹Routine dental cleanings help prevent dental disease and can save money in the long run! Did you know that 80% of dogs and 70% of cats have some form of dental disease by age 3!! Yikes! Left untreated, dental disease can cause pain, stinky breath, trouble eating and threaten your pets overall health. Call us today to schedule your pets dental checkup or cleaning! ❤️🩹
💕Some things you can do to help:
Regular teeth brushing, dental chews, water additives, dental wipes… some brands even have dental food. 💕
➡️ For the month of February, we are offering Dental Kits for only $17.50!!‼️
This is a good way to try out a few products to help kee your pets mouth healthy and its over a $20 value!
These will include:
✅ a convenient travel bag
✅ informational brochure
✅ trial sized dental wipes
✅ a finger toothbrush

Happy Thanksgiving from your friends at Sunshine Animal Hospital!
Remember with all of the family coming in to town, and the festivities, make sure you and your guests know these things before feeding your pet those special thanksgiving snacks to make sure everyone has a happy tummy!
Things your pet CAN have in small amounts:
-turkey (remove fat, skin and bones, unseasoned)
-pumpkin- (canned or cooked)
-carrots (if no bladder problems)
-sweet potato (cooked, unseasoned)
-green beans (if no bladder problems)
-cranberries (cut into smaller pieces for our small breed friends)
-apples (no core)
These things are DON'Ts:
-high fat foods, salty foods
-mushrooms
-desserts, candy (especially chocolate!)
-onions and garlic
-raisins and grapes, pitted fruits
-alcohol
-macadamia nuts
-caffeine
- anything sweetened with xylitol
