New Business Hours for 2017
Starting February 4th, 2017 Dixie Triggers will be changing our business hours.
Tuesday - Friday 9am-12pm, Open.
Tuesday - Friday 1pm-7pm, by Appointment.
Appointments may be made by email (preferred) to [email protected] or call (912) 754-1587.
The change in operational hours will include all Sales, FFL transfers, Class III, Q&A, Repair drop off & pick up. We know in some ways this may be a little confusing during the transition. We believe this will make business run more efficient and allow us to spend better quality time with the customer. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Dixie Triggers continues to be very thankful for all our excellent customers and we look forward to continuing to provide Effingham County with the best service, prices, and products available.
Dixie Triggers holiday hours are as follows:
CLOSED Saturday November 19th through Sunday November 27th for Thanksgiving.
OPEN Monday November 28th for the Only Monday a Year.
Open regular hours Tuesday November 29th through Wednesday December 21st.
CLOSED Thursday December 22nd through Monday December 26th for Christmas.
OPEN regular business hours Tuesday December 27th, Wednesday December 28th, and Thursday December 29th.
CLOSED Friday December 30th though Tuesday January 3rd for New Year's and year end inventory.

Important Information on Ta**us Pistols
A flaw has been exposed in the Ta**us Millennium series covering models PT-111 Millennium, PT-132 Millennium, PT-138 Millennium, PT-140 Millennium, PT-145 Millennium, PT-745 Millennium, PT- 609, PT-640, and PT-24/7 pistols including the “PRO” series of each of these models. These pistols may discharge when dropped or bumped even if the safety is engaged.
A class action lawsuit was opened in South Florida against Ta**us by the Heffler Claims Group (United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida Case No. 1:13-cv-24583-PAS). The last hearing on the settlement occurred on 07/18/16, but the settlement has not yet been approved. This process may take two weeks. The settlement options as advertised by Heffler Group are
1 Settlement Payment Option – Settlement Class Members may elect to return their Class Pistol to the Ta**us Companies and receive a payment of up to $200 per Class Pistol.
2 Enhanced Warranty – The Ta**us Companies agree to modify their existing warranty for all Class Pistols to allow any owner to submit a warranty claim at any time.
A The Class Pistol will be inspected by the Ta**us Companies at no cost and repaired or replaced with no requirement that you prove the pistol is defective.
B The Ta**us Companies will pay all costs associated with this enhanced warranty, including but not limited to the cost of shipping to and from the Ta**us Companies and the cost to inspect the Class Pistol.
C You should anticipate a minimum three week turn-around if returning a Class Pistol for it to be repaired or replaced.
D No repair for the alleged safety defects is currently available, so pistols returned under this option will be replaced with a comparable Ta**us G2 (or similar) model pistol at this time. You can receive a replacement pistol only if applicable law permits the shipping of a replacement pistol to your state and municipality.
E If Ta**us develops a repair, it can repair rather than replace Class Pistols.
3 Safety Training – The Ta**us Companies have produced special and particularized safety training addressing the operation and handling of class pistols.
After a customer brought in one of these pistols for service we contacted Ta**us regarding making this firearm safe. Ta**us is not treating this as a recall even though a factory defect has been found. Ta**us said that they do not have the parts to repair the fi****ms and they will not service or replace these fi****ms until the settlement has been completed and they are ordered to do so by the court. They are referring all “claims” to the settlement servicing group.
Ta**us, despite offering and advertising so, is not honoring the warranty on these pistols currently. It appears that they are retaliating against the class action lawsuit by waiting for the courts to force them to repair their pistols.
In light of this we at Dixie Triggers cannot recommend the purchase of Ta**us Manufacturing products because they do not back up their poorly made fi****ms.
