Our community has officially received a federal disaster declaration for the April 28, 2026, hailstorm.

This opens the door to FEMA programs designed to support our community. At this time, only Public Assistance (PA) has been approved. Individual Assistance (IA) is still under review.

Here’s what that means:
• Individual Assistance (IA): Helps residents with disaster‑related needs like temporary housing, essential home repairs, and other critical losses.
• Public Assistance (PA): Supports communities by funding repairs to roads, bridges, public buildings, utilities, and other vital infrastructure.

We will let you know if additional support becomes available at the individual level.
