Watching the tiny Sanderlings scurry along the shoreline in search of their next meal was delight. At one point, two crossed paths, and I caught a few shots of their brief territorial spat. After a quick tussle, they each went their separate ways.

It’s mating season for the small coastal bird, the Least Tern. Watching the males dive to catch small fish and then proudly parade their catch to attract a mate was very entertaining.
