I’ve been in Pittsburgh, KS (first timer!) for the past week painting a pretty thing in a cool-ass old hotel being restored as new living spaces and a special needs library on the ground level.

One of my favorite parts of painting is getting to learn about (and explore) all kinds of good and cool things people are doing all across the country. And, solo travel gives me great practice in noticing beautiful things.

Grateful.

Color selection on every piece, whether it’s a mural, installation or canvas is the most exciting bit for me where the artwork really starts to come to life.

I love using color as a primary tool for energetic story telling and tone setting! From monochrome to full-spectrum, color really makes the space.

If you’re looking for a special art piece or wall design to make your space your own, I’d love to talk with you 💗

My last two series were all about smooth applications, high contrast and crispy lines. Bold and graphic—feeling like controlled energy.

I’m starting on a new collection that totally changes gear and shifts back to my roots in texture, transparency and deeper concept exploration.

I can’t wait to share some new work! If you’d like to see first looks and have an opportunity to collect before I share publicly, join my mailing list at megwagler.co

BTS captures of this joy-filled collaboration with and at Rutledge Wilson Farm!

Loved getting a tour of the space to meet chickens, babiest of goats and lovely humans who made this project possible.

Thanks to Vital Farms for sponsoring this piece, thanks to Rutledge Wilson farm for hosting it and big thanks to and Springfield 66 Sculpture Series for bringing this project to life in SGF!
