The very well-deserved honor of “2026 Springfieldian” went to Doug Pitt of Pitt Technology Group last night at the Springfield Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting. Doug’s an entrepreneur, businessman, philanthropist and all around good guy who loves this community. Amanda and I couldn’t be more pleased. Care to Learn, which he began in 2008 in response to seeing very real health, hunger & hygiene needs of students in our schools, has offered the opportunity of success to countless kids and seriously improved many, many futures by extension. Congratulations, Doug. We are grateful for all you do, and we’re so proud to call you, “Springfieldian!”

A SYSTEM OF PURE EVIL
* Mercenaries: The regime is using foreign thugs to hunt girls in Hamedan and fire blindly into crowds in Shiraz, leaving streets littered with dead humans and animals.
* Secret Executions: In Isfahan, they are executing protesters in batches—no lawyers, no trials—then backdating death certificates to hide the scale.
* The Hunt: Drones are hunting families fleeing into the mountains and sea. IRGC forces are delivering "finishing shots" to the wounded inside hospitals.

THE ULTIMATE CRUELTY
At Razavi Hospital, the floor was a sea of blood. These weren't "rioters"—they were the hungry. A 25-year-old construction worker, shot in the chest, whispered his last words:
