Marty Prather night 6pm Tuesday night at Hammons Field against the Arkansas Razorbacks. We had a blast for 25 years rooting on the MO State Bears Baseball team. Miss You, My Friend! Here are a lot of great memories from over the years.

Sid Pierce has quite a story -- stories, more like -- to tell. The Ozarks native grew up around Gainesville, where his dad became sheriff, and ultimately spent decades on the road running sound for notable names including Billy Graham and Roy Clark. In a surprising turn of events, he later returned to the Ozarks and became a teacher in Gainesville and Reeds Spring.

I recently had the chance to hear more from Sid, who released his autobiography this year. Keep reading to learn more about his unique history (which includes working to bring dancing to his Ozarks community), time on the road, and even a scary interaction in Russia while Roy Clark was on tour.

On the heels of Veterans Day, this was an appearance by the late Vice President Dick Chaney at the Miltary Order of the Purple Heart at University Plaza Ballroom. We couldn't load in till 6pm for an appearance at 9am the next morning. We had to scrap the original motors and truss rigging to get the Purple Heart Medallion at the right height for the camera shot. They had our power there tied into the same power with the freezer compressors and the coffee pots. Larry Hampton and I were there all night getting the hum outta the PA.
