Decade of Pentecost

We rejoice with a Madagascar Assemblies of God on the distribution of the Malagasy “Pentecostal Pastor’s Manual” at there a recent General Council in Antananarivo. The PPM was produced by the Africa’s Hope “Acts1:8 Initiative.” It has been translated into 10 other African languages for distribution  throughout the continent. 

This month we will call on God to continue to bring divine harmony into our more than 80,000 Assemblies of God churches in Africa as they focus on completing their Decade of Pentecost goals.

Please join us in praying for opened doors across Africa.
During the Decade of Pentecost from 2010 to 2020, several Assemblies of God national churches have developed strong missions programs. They are now aggressively deploying pioneer missionaries to unreached peoples and places.
These brave missionaries often encounter resistance, and sometimes even hostility, from the people they seek to reach. They need for Christ to supernaturally intervene and open the people’s hearts and minds to the message of Christ. You can use this prayer guide to intercede for these missionaries.

This coming Sunday, May 31, is Pentecost Sunday, and in spite of the coronavirus threat, many of our Assemblies of God churches across Africa will emphasizing the empowering of the Holy Spirit and praying with their members to be filled with the Spirit. Pray for their protection. And pray for a mighty outpouring of the Spirit on the churches.
