We're excited to see Navilens getting some well-deserved attention in Springfield!

This technology is changing the way people who are blind or have low vision navigate public spaces by providing accessible, accurate wayfinding through a smartphone. It's one more example of how thoughtful design can make our communities more welcoming for everyone.

We're also thrilled to share that NaviLens will be part of empower: abilities' new building! As we create our new space, we're committed to making it as accessible and welcoming as possible. We look forward to using NaviLens to help guide visitors through the building, making it easier for everyone to find their way independently.

Accessibility isn't just about meeting requirements—it's about creating spaces where everyone feels confident, included, and empowered.

A big thank you to everyone in our community who continues to champion accessibility. Every improvement makes a difference, and together we're building a community of all abilities.

New colorful tool allows you to get around Springfield, Mo. Through the NaviLens system, people can scan these codes and have a voice read them information that they might not be able to understand otherwise.

If you are age 14-24, grab your friends and join us for an afternoon of movies, snacks, and fun!

Our Youth Movie Night is the perfect opportunity to relax, enjoy a great movie, and spend time with friends in a welcoming and inclusive environment.

This will be the last gathering in our current building!
