Springfield Vermont Fire Department

Last night’s training utilized up and coming senior firefighters in officer roles. Each senior firefighter was put into a scenario which they lead their crew through. Once the senecio was completed a discussion was had amongst the crew with evaluators. Scenarios were an alarm investigation, hose line advancement for a fire, and VEIS.

Today Springfield Fire responded to a structure fire in Charlestown NH. We responded with Tower 1 and E-3. Upon initial arrival the Tower crew assisted the first Charlestown Engine on scene with interior fire attack. Once other manpower and resources arrived water supply was established to our Tower we worked on roof ventilation and fire attack.
