Please join us in welcoming Dr. Matthew D. Di Guglielmo, our new Chair of the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatrician-in-Chief of Baystate Children's Hospital! 🎉

Dr. Di Guglielmo comes to after serving as Chief of the Division of General Academic Pediatrics at Nemours Children’s Hospital in Delaware, as well as a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University. He is nationally recognized for his expertise in mentoring and his contributions to pediatric healthcare delivery, obesity, and microbiome research.⚕️

We are excited to have his award-winning leadership and vision guiding the future of pediatric care for children and families throughout western Massachusetts. Welcome, Dr. Di Guglielmo! 💙

Luca Mangini was born at just 23 weeks and spent 180 days in the Baystate Children’s Hospital Davis NICU. Throughout this challenging journey, his parents, Becky and Mark, shared how profoundly the care team impacted their family.
