Highlonesome started in 2018 as a simple campfire jam at Dockley Ranch, deep in the Ozark hills. Claire and Myke, listening to the music carry through the trees, had a thought—what if more folks could experience this? What if music and nature could bring people together in a way that felt raw, real, and a little bit magical?

That’s how the Highlonesome Music Festival was born. Getting here is an adventure, but that’s part of what makes it special. Our venue Dockley Ranch is about as wild and remote as it gets, and that’s exactly why we love it.
