Gear Forward

Gear Forward is engaged presently with youth and outdoor organizations big and small from coast to coast to help them meet their gear needs for the upcoming 2023 season of adventure. To meet these needs we need your help.

To donate gear, as always, you can ship your gear to us in Illinois where we sort it and ship it to organizations in need. https://www.gearforward.org/donate-gear

You can also join our your respective state Facebook Group to engage your community and donate more locally. https://www.gearforward.org/state-facebook-pages

Or you can use our new feature under development to review vetted needs by state on our website and ship gear direct to the organization in need. This list will address the items they need and the purpose of the camp or organization and who they serve. We will keep this listing active as long as the organization has an active gear need, so please check this list often as the items or organizations in need may change. https://www.gearforward.org/donatedirect

Gear Forward has had to move our stockpile of gear to a paid rental location and we need your support to keep that gear stored. Monthly we will be posting a FB fundraiser to help us keep this storage unit active and our reserve gear available to youth in need.

We encourage you to talk to your friends and family about Gear Forward and the work that we do. We are always seeking gear needing a new home and youth outdoor organizations who can benefit from our assistance with gear and supplies.
