The Trail of Tears Rest Areas on I-57 are complete! These new facilities honor the history of the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail while providing modern amenities for travelers across Southern Illinois.
Check out the stunning terrazzo floor with a map highlighting the Illinois stops along the Trail of Tears National Historic Trail. Visitors can also enjoy new playgrounds, picnic areas, and updated gathering spaces!
Phase 3 for CDB’s Illini Hall Replacement and Altgeld Hall Renovation project at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is moving right along! This phase includes construction of a new academic facility for the College of Liberal Arts & Sciences, supporting the Departments of Mathematics and Statistics.
