Spring time. Time for a little raking and cleaning. The old winter flowers taken care of. Room for new Spring flowers and a pin wheel.

This monument is made from zinc or"white bronze". It was popular during the late 1800s. Unfortunately over time the joints can give out. The bases were often made of sandstone will can deteriorate over time. This one gave out. It is located in Indiana. It can be restored but will cost money.

Sarah passed in 1853. This would have been a replacement stone since marble was not easily available in Illinois until after the RR came through.

Little Mirtiee Mack will lighten over the next few months. Headstone from 1872.

Cleaned up an Angel bench. It was a mess. Looks beautiful now.
