Board Member Spotlight 🔦:

Kris Waterman’s connection to the Greene County 100 Club started long before she ever joined the board.

Raised in a family of first responders, her father served as an assistant fire chief and her mother as an EMT. Kris grew up with a firsthand understanding of the risks and sacrifices that come with the job. That understanding became deeply personal when her father’s best friend, a fire chief, passed away unexpectedly, leaving behind a wife and three children.

Since joining the board in November 2025, Kris has been driven by a clear purpose: to use her 13 years of marketing experience to build awareness about the Greene County 100 Club. That purpose was reinforced even more recently, as she witnessed the impact of losing two Christian County officers and the ripple effect it had across the community.

Outside of her role as an Executive Accounts Manager at Mid-West Family Marketing, Kris channels her creativity into everything she does- and if you know her well, you know she also loves feeding people, especially anything baked from scratch.

For Kris, the mission is simple but powerful- supporting those braver than most, and making sure their families are never left to carry the weight alone.
