Finally tried out my first set of handmade watercolors. I’m not a watercolorist, though I am finding I like to dabble a bit. So why make paint? My daughter asked me this the other day. Well, I love making and working with botanical inks along with the dip pens I make to go with them. The problem is, they aren’t shelf stable and so when people ask me to make them I can’t rightly do so. That is why I embarked on this journey of paint making. I want to make special paint for special people and events. I like to be part of people’s special memories.
