We had an exceptional weekend! Congratulations are in order for Scott Ward of Lebanon, who won the exquisite fly rod crafted by Ken Schortmann, Assistant Program Lead of Project Healing Waters - Springfield/Branson, Missouri. Additionally, Steve Fritz of Branson took home the stunning salmon fly tied by Carolyn Hellmuth, beautifully presented in a shadowbox. Both items were raffled off at the Brown Trout Rendezvous. We extend our sincere gratitude to White River Fly Fishers for the invitation and their exceptional hospitality. Special thanks also to J. Christian Andrew's for donating the artisanal bobbins. We were able to do a little casting since the weather was so beautiful and our Assistant Program Lead Ken Schortman did a presentation on the CUSTOM rod that will be raffled off at the White River Fly Fishers Expo in October.
