What if we told you the difference between these two kids’ futures started before they were born? 👦🏾👧🏾
Same state. Same sky. Completely different investment.
Underfunded schools. Food deserts. Polluted air. No green space.
These aren’t just environmental issues — they’re survival issues. And the data doesn’t lie.
The zip code a Black child is born into still determines:
🚫 The air quality they breathe
🚫 Whether fresh food is within reach
🚫 How much green space they can access
🚫 How long they’re expected to live
That is not a coincidence. That is policy. And policy can be changed.
At Green Environmental Outreach (GEO), we’re on the ground in Central Ohio fighting for:
🌿 Urban agriculture & food access
🌍 Environmental justice advocacy
💪🏾 Community health equity
🏘️ Real investment in disinvested communities
These two children did not choose their zip codes. But we can choose to fight for both of them equally.
Every like. Every share. Every follow. Every conversation — it all moves the needle.
These children deserve the same future. Help us build it.

Throwback: South Plum street community clean up
This is what showing up for your community looks like. 🙏🏾
The Clark County Minority Health Fair wasn’t just an event — it was a statement. A reminder that Springfield’s Black and Brown communities deserve access to quality health resources, real information, and people who actually care about their wellbeing.
GEO showed up. The community showed up. And together we made it happen.
From health screenings to wellness resources to conversations that don’t happen enough in our neighborhoods — this is the work. Not glamorous. Not viral. Just necessary.
Too many of our people are dying from preventable conditions because access has always been the barrier. High blood pressure. Diabetes. Mental health. These aren’t just statistics — they’re our fathers, mothers, grandparents, and neighbors.
Events like this exist because someone decided the community was worth investing in. That’s what Green Environmental Outreach is built on. Environmental justice. Community health. Real equity — not the performative kind.
Clark County, Springfield — we see you. We’re not going anywhere.
If you were there, drop a 🙏🏾 in the comments. If you missed it, stay locked in — we’re just getting started.
