Our Global Shout team wants to wish everyone a Happy World Refugee Day today June 20th, 2023! We celebrate all of the millions of wonderful, intelligent, and inspiring refugees that play a part in all of our daily lives through their commitment to their families, workplaces, and adopted countries. Join us this Sunday, May 1st at 3pm for an end of Ramadan at Armistead Boothe Park in Alexandria, Virginia. Tickets are $25 and pay for your meal - the final iftar of Ramadan at sundown- while you visit with some of the 1000+ Afghan refugees we have been helping resettle across the area for the past few months. There will be music, sports, games, and social services for the refugees as well.
