Illinois weather gave our afternoon riders an unexpected ending yesterday! 🌦️
The last 5 minutes of the ride turned into a complete downpour, but everyone laughed it off and made the best of it. Sometimes the most memorable trail rides are the ones you never could’ve planned.
The horses loved the cool-down too. The ones back at the barn were happily standing out in the rain, soaking it all in!

And with that… the 2026 Horse Camp season has come to an end. 🐴❤️
What a wonderful summer it has been! Week after week we watched new friendships form, confidence grow, and so many smiling faces fall in love with horses.
Thank you to every family who trusted Riverside Stables with your children this summer. It means so much to us that year after year you choose us to provide a safe, welcoming place where kids can learn, explore the outdoors, and make memories they’ll never forget.
To all of our amazing campers, we hope you leave with happy hearts and memories that will last a lifetime. We already can’t wait to see so many of you back next summer!
