Mom Said What?

There are periods of my life that are missing...moments that I’ll never get back or get to re-live, simply because I refused to just let them take the dang picture.

I know so many of you ​know ​what I’m talking about! Maybe you too are having flashbacks of holding your newborn on the couch, no makeup, feeling ​so rough​ and then someone tries to stick a camera in your face...​and we all know how that ends.

I could just cry thinking of all the nights I rocked my son in the rocker, all the bubble bath beards I made, all the mud pies out in the yard, the piggy back rides, the sunset bike rides with my kids...and when he looks at those pictures one day, they will have no idea I was there, too.

I want you to have a way to remember ​this​ time in your life...no matter how insignificant it seems. I want you to have images of your laugh, your gaze, the way your hair falls in your face, and that freckle on your nose.
