The Hiser family has made a weekly tradition out of visiting the Republic Branch Library for the weekly scavenger hunts created by staff.⁠

Each week, they split into teams, boys vs. girls, and race to see which group can complete the hunt the fastest while getting all the answers correct.⁠

Ever wondered what your home looked like decades ago?

In the 1980s, the Greene County Assessor's Office photographed tens of thousands of homes and businesses across the county. The Library recently partnered with the Greene County Archives and the Assessor's Office to digitize the images. More than 17,000 home and business photographs are now available to browse online in the Greene County Homes & Business collection, with many more to come.
