I am not a poet, and probably don't have an accurate understanding of iambic pentameter, which is probably evident in my writing, but I do enjoy writing a little verse from time to time anyway. Keep in mind that in my formative yrs, Dr. Seuss and Shel Silverstein were my favorite poets! This is a bit I wrote, regarding a pyrography piece I created awhile ago, depicting the mighty s***m whale acquiring a prized meal, the giant squid. Hope you enjoy it. ***mwhales
