Calling all Southern Illinois Women-Owned Businesses!

Are you leading through innovation? The SIU Foundation Women’s Leadership Council and Legence Bank are proud to launch the 2026 EmpowerHER Community Grant to support bold, creative female entrepreneurs in our region.

We’re awarding FOUR $500 grants to local, women-owned businesses that are breaking boundaries and driving change.

Grant recipients will also have the chance to showcase their products or services at the Saluki Women’s Weekend Women Empowerment Conference on Friday, Sept. 11.

Important Dates:
Applications are due by August 1.
The finalists will be notified by August 14.
Awards will be presented at the 2026 Salauki Women's Weekend Philanthropy and Awards Luncheon on September 11.
