O'Shea Builders

O’Shea Builders partnered with The Outlet and Lincoln Land Community College to host a group of young men interested in learning more about construction. Throughout the week, students gained both educational and hands-on experience, learning to collaborate on projects, operate tools, and explore opportunities within the construction industry and skilled trades. The group worked on a community project in partnership with Wooden It Be Lovely, cutting and sanding plywood shapes that will later be decorated and sold with all proceeds benefiting the Wooden It Be Lovely program. It was a rewarding week of learning, teamwork, and community involvement! O’Shea Builders is proud to support programs that inspire and equip the next generation of skilled trades professionals.

As a Project Engineer, she consistently performs beyond expectations, bringing curiosity, positivity, and dedication to everything she does. Whether she's participating in Cool to Care initiatives, helping with PE Pathway presentations, improving project processes, or building strong relationships with our field teams, Audrey is always looking for ways to learn and contribute.

She has played a key role in creating exceptional construction experiences by organizing site tours, keeping stakeholders informed through project updates, and managing punch lists with outstanding attention to detail. Her positive attitude, team-first mindset, and genuine care for others make her an invaluable member of the Memorial team and a joy to work alongside.

O’Shea Builders partnered with Lincoln Land Community College’s College for Kids program to host a group of young women interested in learning more about construction. Throughout the week, they gained both educational and hands-on experience, working with our design partners to explore architecture and interior design, learning how buildings are constructed and finished, and discovering career opportunities within the construction industry and skilled trades. The group also contributed to a community project at Safety City on the UIS campus, which will soon provide elementary school students with a space to learn about safety and the rules of the road. It was a great week of learning, teamwork, and community involvement!
