We are so excited to share that among thousands of submissions, our students from Emergence Academy were selected to be part of PBS’ On Our Minds Massachusetts episode! 
 
This was a collaboration between PBS Student Reporting Labs and our own Emergence School Life Podcast Club, where students worked together to create “Not Born Here, But Belonging Here,” a story about newcomer students finding home in Springfield.
 
Please make sure to show some love and shout out to our amazing Podcast Club students who helped make this possible: Bronsted, Lovemica, Jeily, and Afia 💚
 
They worked incredibly hard on interviews, recording, storytelling, and representing our school community in such a meaningful way!
