Breastmilk’s powerful immunological properties are very soothing for various skin issues, like diaper rash, psoriasis, heat rashes, acne, eczema and umbilical cord separation, as well as sore, dry, or cracked ni***es; nasal congestion; and minor scrapes, burns, and other superficial skin wounds.
There have been actual scientific studies regarding the topical benefits of breastmilk for eczema, psoriasis, acne, rashes, cradle caps and even pink eye or cracked/dry skins and healing superficial wounds. Source: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6567207/
It’s even been proven more effective than hydrocortisone in clinical trials!

Melt and Pour Breastmilk soap is safe when using a proper recipe and milk to soap ratio (1:4). Encapsulation of the milk molecules is achieved via emulsion (Source: https://www.heraldopenaccess.us/openaccess/encapsulation-techniques-for-delivery-of-bioactive-compounds-in-milk-and-dairy-products-a-review)
Oats: Oatmeal can soak up the excess oil on your skin and help treat acne. Its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties help to treat dry skin and remove dead skin cells. Oats also contain compounds called saponins, which are natural cleansers. They remove the dirt and oil that clog the pores and exfoliate the skin.
Calendula: Calendula has antifungal, anti-inflammatory, and antibacterial properties that might make it useful in healing wounds, soothing eczema, and relieving diaper rash. It's also used as an antiseptic.
Lavender: Lavender gently moisturizes skin, and is non-comedogenic for pores. Lavender oil is naturally antibacterial, meaning that it kills acne-causing bacteria that might infiltrate your pores. This makes the purple flower perfect for preventing, calming, and healing painful acne breakouts.
Make sure to use within 3 months for best quality. This recipe does allow for shelf stability. Always Throw away if it starts to look or smell bad.
Soap base: Vegetable based, contains no surfactants or propylene glycol or triethanolmine.
(All Organic)
Palm Oil, Safflower Oil, Glycerin (kosher, of vegetable origin), Shea butter, Purified Water, Sodium Hydroxide.
Does have titanium dioxide for the white color.
*I have more essential oils. Lavender is just a recommended one I feel is safe for little babies (AFTER THREE MONTHS OLD) or people with sensitive skin (though unscented is the safest). If you have older kids or you want to use for yourself, message me and I can tell you what other essential oils I have that I can include for you!
