It was a fabulous event again this year at the Fayetteville Public Library Summer Reading Kickoff! The J.B. And Johnelle Hunt Gathering Glade had Raising Cane's and a butterfly on stilts; while the lego room, 3D printing and circus were inside, and bike helmet fitting by Washington Regional, bouncy houses and the Fayetteville Arkansas Fire Department were set up by the Ramble.

Enjoy this Memorial Day knowing that some fought for our rights to enjoy it, bestowing blessings on us strangers. Some paid with the ultimate price, others sacrificed their peace of mind, comforts, and daily enjoyment or freedom to choose each day what it may hold, for us. While others suffered or sacrificed in silence, we say out loud, THANK YOU! (This Marine, Todd Reid, is special to me and the rest of our family. Thank you for your service).

Well, just like that, we have two FHS graduates….bitter sweet. So proud of these two and excited to see the next steps they’ll take. They head to the hill in August, so they’re not going too far away! What a great night celebrating them.

Happy Mother’s Day!! To all the moms who make it happen and “Just Do it,” I hope you got to take a break today and do somethibg YOU enjoy. Great time with mine this weekend in between the girls’ working shifts, graduation obligations, moving out of the sorrority house, etc! Brunch on Saturday at Briar Rose Bakery where we somehow only snapped one pic., then Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art today followed by a ride to the farm and captured a beautiful sunset.

Congratulations Dean Nance!!! Arkansas is blessed to have you. Thank you for all the years of hard work and service you have dedicated to us. Well deserved honor. 👏 👏

Awesome time this year at the Vandergriff Elementary Spring Fling! We just beat the rain!! Saw a lizard in a backpack (because why not), jumped in bouncy houses, and ate great food provided by Today’s bank! What else could we want?

Was great being in the NABORhood with Kings River Title and listening to Donnie McNaughton talk NABOR issues. .
