Rogers hospital to be first to use Arkansas’ initiative for doulas in maternal healthcare | Arkansas Advocate A northwest Arkansas hospital will be the first to use the state’s initiative to integrate doulas into maternal healthcare, the state’s largest healthcare system announced last week.

This week, we attended Madison County’s Summer Kickoff, where we connected with more than 50 families and shared information about our programs and services. We also had the opportunity to engage with community partners and explore opportunities to bring maternal health education to Madison County, expanding access to valuable resources, education, and support for local residents.

In collaboration with Mercy Hospital Northwest Arkansas, we recently launched the Advancing Doulas and Perinatal Teams (ADAPT) toolkit to strengthen the relationship between doulas and clinical care teams to improve maternal health outcomes across the state.
