🥵Heat Advisory 🥵

Mother Nature has officially chosen violence.

With an Extreme Heat Warning in effect today, we’d like to ask for everyone’s cooperation.

Please don’t commit crimes today.

We don’t want to chase you.
You don’t want to be chased.
Nobody looks intimidating when they’re out of breath and sweating through their life choices.

Today’s a great day to:
✅ Stay inside.
✅ Drink some water.
✅ Watch TV.
✅ Make good decisions.

Today’s NOT a great day to:
❌ Run from the police.
❌ Fight your neighbor.
❌ Test how fast you can outrun Officer Peagler
❌ Make us put on extra gear when the weather already feels like someone left Ohio in a crockpot.

In all seriousness, this heat can become dangerous very quickly.

💧 Drink plenty of water.
❄️ Spend time in air conditioning whenever possible.
🌳 Take frequent breaks if you’re working outdoors.
👕 Wear lightweight clothing.
🚗 Never leave children or pets in a parked vehicle—not even for a minute.

🚨 Know the signs of a heat emergency:
• Dizziness or fainting
• Headache
• Nausea or vomiting
• Muscle cramps
• Heavy sweating followed by hot, dry skin
• Confusion, difficulty speaking, or loss of consciousness

If someone is showing signs of heat stroke, call 911 immediately. Heat stroke is life-threatening and every minute counts.

Let’s all survive today’s weather with our dignity (mostly) intact. We’ll keep doing our job—you just help us by making good choices, checking on elderly neighbors and anyone without reliable air conditioning, and postponing any criminal activity until… preferably never.
