It’s really called Shadow Work. Its actually a psychology term and great proof of how science/medicine often work together.

It's about looking inward, acknowledging and addressing your shadows and processing/healing Toxic traits and even trauma. It can go all the way back to your childhood.

You can’t just push things under the rug and forget about them. Oh no no
They will always resurface and it can happen in a different scenario, different people…until you face it, heal it.
