For the past several days, B-141 assigned to TIFMAS Strike Team 169 has been pre-positioned in Fort Davis, Texas, assisting with wildfire response efforts across West Texas.

While assigned, personnel have participated in training and have responded to fires in support of local agencies and communities.

This event is indoors so we don't have to worry about the rain spoiling the fun. Great event for both kids and adults. We will also be raffling off great door prizes for those in attendance.

So come join us this Saturday from 10a-2p.

There will be lots to see and do!

It is with heavy hearts that the Timber Lakes Fire Department announces the passing of one of our dedicated Ladies Auxiliary members and longtime supporters, Debbie Pleasant Kennedy.

For many years, she stood beside our department, giving her time, energy, and compassion to support our firefighters and the community we proudly serve. Her unwavering commitment, kindness, and generosity made a lasting impact on all of us.

She was more than a supporter, she was family.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy will continue to live on through the spirit of service she inspired in our department.

Rest easy, and thank you for everything you gave to the Timber Lakes Fire Department.

Please keep her loved ones in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Today, Timber Lakes Fire Department is proud to support the IRONMAN Texas event by staffing our AV-141 with our Fire Chief alongside a dedicated Paramedic from the Montgomery County Hospital District. Together, they are providing medical coverage to help ensure the safety and well-being of the athletes competing in this world-class endurance event.

We are grateful for the opportunity to assist with such a prestigious event and to work alongside our regional partners in delivering high-quality emergency medical support. Events like Ironman Texas highlight the importance of preparedness, coordination, and strong partnerships across agencies.

Best of luck to all the athletes competing today—we’re proud to be part of keeping this event safe and successful!
