WOWWWW is the only way to describe Rivers & Roads 2025. Here was our adventure:
-worship with the sunrise 80 feet up overlooking all the college station/bryan area
-going on an epic hike at Chalk Falls State Park
-Buccees (of course)
-Waco Zoo (with Herman!)
-Play Time at the Magnolia Silos
-Dr. Pepper Museum
-Worship at the MLK lookout on the river with the sunset
-playing & staying overnight at Central UMC
-BIG FINISH of Community & Worship with the Church Under the Bridge- in which OUR OWN STUDENTS LED A SONG!
Grateful for the adults who helped and the students who participated.
An incredible trip with memories to last a lifetime.
We went with hopes to worship Christ all over, and we believe we did that and then some.

This week, we are thankful for getting a chance to come together in community & for our community in Christ.
We had a BIG Thanksgiving Feast of our own as an act of worship together (with the help of an awesome dinner from the Velas).
And then we went and handed our bags for the Homeless as well as gifts for our neighbors in need of some extra attention.
Thank You Lord!

What a month it has been!
We partied it up before school began, had an awesome movie marathon lockin, started up the youth band in leading us in worship, had students lead us with their lessons & teaching, studied the Bible with our deepest questions of our faith journey, made snack bags for the homeless, had different parents helping us serve dinner every week, prayed over each other & this year, all while growing closer to Christ & His people. Can’t wait to see what God has in store this next month!
